Easter weekend

Wow!!! What a weekend of softball that I witnessed. I was so proud of my sport. Jells parks was at maximum softball capacity with softball players from 11 years to U/23.
Was so proud of the sport that I still love and want to see work its way back into the Olympics.
2020 is still a chance for it to be returned and to give all of those little girls a dream to look forward to, just as I had the opportunity to do.
Over the weekend I have been working on a concept that will be attached to the business Chris Anstey and I starting TLCMentoring. It will be the Nat Titcume Hitting Academy. To help improve the techniques and power of hitters.
Also with looking forward to Softball getting back into the Olympics it has to become a more exciting game with more hits, base running and of course Homeruns

Over the last couple of weeks since my last blog I have been working on business ideas becoming reality. I have attended a business workshop at the VIS, which is part of the Barrett Business education program, to assist athletes with starting their own business.

Also Chris and I have been working on our company logo which has been exciting.

There is so much going on and am looking forward to the next few weeks.

Cheers Nat

A new start....

Wow! Im writing my first blog. I have just finished a meeting with Drew Ginn and Chris Anstey.
Over the past few months since my retirement from international softball I have been looking at ways to fulfil the rest of my working life.
I was asking myself, what do I want to do?
What am I passionate about?
How do I want to look back at my life?

Well in saying all that, and asking myself those questions. I started talking to Chris about what he is passionate about. It turns out we have similar goals and future ideas about helping and assisting children and teenagers.
We both want to share our experiences of achievement and resilience with them.
We have started up a business idea call TLCMentoring.

After 10 years teaching I really want to assist all students not just the one's I was lucky enough to have in my classrooms.

I'm going to attempt to use this blog to show a path in which I'm going to take to achieve my new set of goals. (that in which is to assist others).

Stay tuned
